Here in Northern Colorado, we are a bit land locked.

I think the closest ocean is about a 14 hour drive away, so ocean/beach photos are not exactly the norm. We have mountains. And boy do I love the mountains. As a Colorado native, the mountains have always felt like home to me. But after doing mountain-y family photos year after year, its so fun to get a change of scenery.

This lake session was so.much.fun and one of my favorite sessions to date. There is something about photographing water that I love. The texture, The reflections, The movement. It's just beautiful and fun. The kids played, we all laughed and now these photos are core memories preserved forever.
